Thusong Projects donate in abundance to charity

From mattresses to duvet sets, socks and blankets, each centre received an abundance of donations.

Thusong Projects, an affiliation of the Vesco group, aims to enrich the community by giving back.

On June 8 and 9, the campaign embarked on a donation drive to various Non-Governmental Organisations (NGO’s) and frail care facilities.

In addition to mattresses, duvet sets, socks and blankets, each centre therefore received an abundance of donations.

The following organisations received donations:

  • Bumbisizwe Special School in Madadeni
  • Thembalethu Senior Citizens
  • Loving Care-Home for the Aged
  • Raphah Newcastle.

While its offices are based in Vanderbijlpark, they also extend their services to Newcastle and Saldanha.

As a result, owners of Loving Care-Home for the Aged, Marie Botha and Christo Cronje, said they appreciated the support and kindness shown.

In conclusion, the owners said; “We are surprised and happy to receive as much as we did. We believe an open heart can receive as well.”
