Juventus takes Youth Day soccer honours

Bongani, the coach of the team commented that he 'loves coaching these boys and I hope we have more tournaments for them, just to keep them busy and out of the streets.

Glencoe’s sports field was filled with young soccer players as they enthusiastically commemorated June 16, Youth Day.
The Juventus FC team hosted an u/15 league on Friday and Saturday last week which saw the boys play their hearts out in the hopes of winning the league and a new soccer jersey for their teams.
Juventus won the tournament and they were ecstatic.
Bongani, the coach of the team commented that he ‘loves coaching these boys and I hope we have more tournaments for them, just to keep them busy and out of the streets.
He also thanked the sponsors: National Computer College, Sports and Recreation, Dr Masondo, Siboniso and Thabani, TV Electrical, Cassims Butchery, Ebees Express, Deans Auto Spares, Super Quick, and P Caldecott.
The boys can only hope that their parents and the community come and support them when they play.
