Newcastle High School hosted another interesting and highly informative science expo for primary school learners to experience, on August 11.
On the day, eight primary schools brought in total of 230 learners to come and view 42 projects and/or exhibits that NHS learners had set-up for them to enjoy.
Exploding water bottles, bleeding iron, fertilizers from coffee powder and growing sugar monsters were some of the projects on display for the learners to take in.
The NHS learners excelled in presenting quality projects to the learners, and all had a great day experiencing science in a fun and practical way. They all left by saying “science is fun”.
NHS thanked all the primary school’s for allowing some learners to attend, teachers who accompanied the learners and NHS staff and learners who organised this successful science experience day.
