NSPS is always keen to take part in as much as possible in the Newcastle Eisteddfod, and this year was no exception.
Many pupils entered various categories such as Art, Vocal, English, Dance, Afrikaans and Instrumental.
The school also took on the role of host and organiser of the Art Section of the Eisteddfod, capably done under the leadership of Mrs Antoinette Spies.
The results were as follows:
– Triple Gold Certificates -73
– Double Gold Certificates – 46
– Gold Certificates – 83
– Silver Certficates – 103
– Magenta Certificates – 31
– Total Entries – 336.
