LHS matrics enjoy a special night in the “city of love”

Dressed to the nines, couples arrived at the school in all manner of fancy sports cars in anticipation of their special night

As expected, it was all glitz and glamour at the 2017 Ladysmith High School (LHS) matric farewell which kicked off on Friday afternoon at the school.

Dressed to the nines, couples arrived at the school in all manner of fancy sports cars in anticipation of their special night. Some of the vehicles arrived sedately and quietly, while others revved their engines a bit and burned some rubber for added effect!

The crowd went wild as the lovely ladies and dashing dudes made a grand entrance and did a turn on the red carpet for all to see.

This year’s theme was ‘A Night in Paris’. With Paris boasting the Eiffel Tower and the reputation of being the “city of love”, the school went all out to make sure the learners’ night was just as memorable.

After everyone had made an impressive arrival at the school, for all the spectators to see, the matriculants were transported to Naunton’s Guest House, where a well-planned programme was laid out.

The Grade 12s enjoyed a scrumptious meal and then danced the night away!
