Talking about his experience at this year’s Mr and Miss AbaQulusi pageant, S’bonelo said that it was a wonderful learning experience.
“I got to meet peers who also have a passion for modelling and people who play a part in giving this profession a great reputation,” he said.
Some of the highlights of the competition for him were the great competitive spirit among the models during the pageant.
“We all wanted to win but still left space for encouraging, advising and supporting one another,” he recalled.
Having won the Mr AbaQulusi title, S’bonelo hopes to alleviate the challenges faced by young people with initiatives that aim to grow and nurture skills within the community.
He is hoping to be crowned Mr South Africa in the future and would like to thank his family, friends and the community of AbaQulusi for their support and words of encouragement.
He would also like to thank the various fashion houses and photographers who have been and are still contributing to his success. S’bonelo is also grateful to events organiser, Sphesihle Molefe, and wished her well in her future endeavours.
