Blood buddies reach out to save lives
60 pints of blood were collected, 73 blood buddies attended and five new blood donors were welcomed
Blood donors walked in at the Estcourt Town Hall recently, and got ready to roll up their sleeves and do good.

As the South African National Blood Service (SANBS) held their last monthly Blood Donor Clinic, blood buddies streamed in and did their bit towards this worthy cause.

60 pints of blood were collected, 73 blood buddies attended and five new blood donors were welcomed. The SANBS team together with the Blood Clinic Co-ordinator Mr SM Dawoonarain would like to thank the following organisations and donors for their contributions throughout the year.

“To the staff and learner blood donors of Drakensberg Secondary, Estcourt Secondary, Estcourt High schools and all those who supported community blood donor clinics at the town hall.
“We take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude and thanks for the sacrifice and time you all made to give the precious lifesaving gift in 2017.”

They also send humble salutations to the staff of Estcourt and Midlands News for their service given through the media. “It has been excellent, may you all have a wonderful and joyous Christmas filled with unconditional love, positive divine energy, good health and peace for the New Year 2018.”
