Northern Natal beauty has sights set on Miss Eagle SA title

She bagged the Miss Nquthu title in 2016 and went on to take home the Miss Mzansi title in 2017.

Nquthu born beauty queen, Kwazikwenkosi Mbanjwa, has her eyes set on doing big things.

The 23 year-old who grew up in the Hlathidam area in Nquthu says that she is willing to go the extra mile to ensure that her dreams of becoming a top model come true so that she can set up a good example for young people in her hometown.

Kwazi believes that she can accomplish this if she wins the Miss Eagle South Africa competition.

A competition that will see her travelling the world, debuting on runways and making guest appearances on television programs.

Having entered this annual competition, which helps give young models on the rise a chance to shine, Kwazi says that her chances of winning are in the hands of her fellow community members.

Having always had a passion for modelling since the age of 9, Kwazi went on to further her studies in this field at Mobile Model Management in Durban.

She bagged the Miss Nquthu title in 2016 and went on to take home the Miss Mzansi title in 2017.

She has also worked on smaller projects such as starting the, now annual, Miss Personality competition as well as the Miss Hlathi-Dam competition.

Modelling is not the only thing this young woman holds dear at heart as she is also a very active member of the community.

She started her own foundation Kwazikwenkosi Helping Hand and is also part of the Hlathidam Youth Foundation as a means to help improve the lives of the people in her community.

Her role-models in the modelling world including SA’s Rolene Strauss who took home the Miss World title in 2014 as well as Canadian model, Coco Rocha.

Kwazi hopes to start an art school where young women can come together and learn the wonders of the beauty industry.

She is appealing to community members to make this dream a reality by voting for her to win the Miss Eagle competition by smsing “Kwazi” to 35334.
