About Juanita du Plessis:
She was born and raised in Windhoek, Namibia. Juanita du Plessis, a loving wife and mother of three, became a household name in South Africa when her debut album ‘Juanita’ was released in 1998.
Upon its release, the album won her many awards and made her an overnight success.
She and her family moved to South Africa from Gobabis shortly after, and she finally released her second album to much praise.
This album also featured ‘Ska Rumba’, one of Du Plessis’ biggest hits to date. Today, she continues to break records and collect awards with each album she releases.
After a decade in the Afrikaans music industry, it isn’t difficult to see why Juanita du Plessis is known as South Africa’s own platinum princess.
