Red-hot action warms up chilly bowls nights
Don't forget to bring along a blanket, non-perishable food items or pet food which the Round Table will distribute to their five beneficiaries.

Nan Roos, Sylvia Malan, Des Johnson and dual members, Essel Schoeman (from Richards Bay) and Noela Dreyer and Hannah Gevers (from Vryheid), are currently competing in the Bowls South Africa Nationals Competition at various venues around the country. Keep that Dundee flag flying high!
Round Table Winter Knights
Another great evening was had on Thursday evening as the Round Table Winter Knights Bowls Business League entered its second round. Once again playing conditions were quite chilly but the bowls played on the night were red hot. No Name Brand find themselves in first place with The Greenhoughs currently in last place. The leaderboard is as follows: No Name Brand 8 +11; The Eagles 6 +32; BB Transport 6 +19 and Langfontein 6 +18.
Don’t forget to bring along a blanket, non-perishable food items or pet food which the Round Table will distribute to their five beneficiaries. No need to worry about “what to make for supper” as the Round Table ladies will be selling food on the night so bring along your friends and family and be a part of this great initiative.
Novice Singles
It was decided by the Committee that the novice singles would take on a slightly different format compared to previous years. Greg has put a list on the notice board of players who have been members of the club for less than three years and who haven’t won a singles competition before. Names must be entered on the list by May 31. A draw will be done and players will have a certain time frame to play their games in. The Club urges its new members to put their names on the list and fight it out for the title of Novice Singles Champion.
Upcoming events:
May 17, 24, 31 – Round Table Winter Knights League
May 12-20 – S A Nationals
May 26-27 – KZNCB Inter-zone in Ladysmith.
