Golfing stalwart Billy shoots lights out
Golfers are reminded that the Wednesday competition has an accumulated jackpot running, which now stands at over R500 so let's see more golfers this Wednesday afternoon.

Saturday’s Better Ball Bonus Bogey golf competition at the Dundee Golf Club saw a number of players enjoying the good course conditions to record some exceptional scores, and the one player in particular was our old stalwart Billy Francis, who shot an excellent five under par 66, great golf Billy!
It was Billy and his partner, Marc Bradbury, who won the competition on a very good score of +13, but only just managing to count out the pairing of Clement Sithole and Hlengiwe Hlongwane, who also finished on +13.
There were as many as four players who won the Saturday jackpot by scoring eleven individual points or more on the four allocated holes, and they were: B Chiwaya, C Sithole, R Streak and D Sadaw. Only Richard Catlett on the 8th and Billy Francis on the 16th managed to record a 2 Club for the day. Our greenkeeper, Jo Khumalo, sponsored the Friday 10 holes Chicken Run, which attracted 19 players and was won by Y Govender on 22 individual points with G Robson finishing second on 21 points and B Chiwaya third on 20 points.
Dave’s Wednesday Competition also saw a good field of 17 players taking part in the hope of winning the Impala, kindly sponsored by Tyrone Milne. Jo Khumalo scored 24 individual points to win this impressive prize. Golfers are reminded that the Wednesday competition has an accumulated jackpot running, which now stands at over R500 so let’s see more golfers this Wednesday afternoon.
