Choirs perform well

In spite of being nervous, the choirs performed beautifully and received wonderful feedback

On Friday, Monument Primary School’s junior and senior choirs went to compete in kykNET’s ‘Sing in Harmonie’ competition.

After a very long bus ride, they arrived in Pietermaritzburg, excited and ready for the concert.

In spite of being nervous, the choirs performed beautifully and received wonderful feedback from renowned judges Phillip Kotze and Lizl Gaffley.

Other choirs that competed were Durban North College and Athlone Primary School.

Congratulations to Monument’s senior choir, who won this first round and will be going to Silverstar Casino in Krugersdorp to compete in the finals against other finalists across South Africa.

A big thanks must go to kykNET and ‘Sing in Harmonie’ for an unforgettable experience.

‘Sing in Harmonie’ can be followed every Sunday at 4pm on DSTV channel 146.
