Guests first mingled with a warming glass or two of wine.

They then moved to the garden area, where Engelbrecht welcomed guests, and extended her appreciation for the effort put into the celebration.

Foremost however, she thanked God for His goodness.

As a devout believer, Engelbrecht reiterated her gratitude for blessings, talents and gifts bestowed by God, and her thanks to all who believed in her.

She also thanked her staff without whom, she could not succeed.

Engelbrecht then handed over to client and friend, Marinda de Jager, who provided real food for thought with a talk on vision and the prophet, Jeremiah.

She said his vision was eternal, while others were worldly.

In the same way vision could be restored by Engelbrecht, de Jager said vision of the afterlife could only be restored through God.

Stiaan Botha then rounded off in prayer.

With the formalities concluded, guests mingled around braziers in the garden and socialised, interspersed with tantalising culinary delights and beverages.
