Gogo Maria Mhlungu turned 100 last month
" I have no secret of how to make it to a 100 years. I guess its by the grace of God".
It was song and dance when Maria Mhlungu turned 100 last month.
The whole of Sithembile location came out to celebrate with Gogo. She is a mother of six with five grandchildren and has lost count of her great-grandchildren. Although she can barely hear and walk she was happy when the community commemorated her birthday with her. She said, ” I have no secret of how to make it to a 100 years. I guess its by the grace of God”.
Gogo Mhlungu doesn’t suffer from any chronic illnesses and still finds time to clean the house when she’s not too tired.
