SAVF Ukuthula Crèche awarded Best SAVF Project in KwaZulu-Natal

The SAVF Ukuthula Crèche won the prize for Best SAVF Project in KwaZulu-Natal

In 1999/2000 Dassie Kruger and Mrs Harriet Slabber started a crèche in Wembezi’s C-Section.

This year on June 7 at the SAVF Conference in Vryheid the SAVF Ukuthula Crèche won the prize for Best SAVF Project in KwaZulu-Natal.

SAVF Ukuthula Crèche was awarded for being the Best SAVF Project in KwaZulu-Natal. Not pictured Mrs Khumalo and Ms Mshiba.

This is a great honour as the SAVF has 23 facilities that include homes for the aged, day care centres, housing projects and more.

It is a privilege to work with the staff of Ukuthula Crèche in Wembezi. Well done to all the dedicated staff members.

At the same conference, out of 249 volunteers, Ansje du Plessis won the award for the Volunteer of the Year 2018 for the years of volunteer work that she does at the crèche with the staff.
