Stanley celebrates 46 years at Dundee Golf Club
"Old Faithful" Stanley Naicker, will be celebrating his 46th-year service with the club this coming weekend and will be hosting a sponsored golf day on Saturday, June 30, as part of his celebrations.
Dundee Country Club’s “Old Faithful” Stanley Naicker, will be celebrating his 46th-year service with the club this coming weekend and will be hosting a sponsored golf day on Saturday, June 30, as part of his celebrations.
The competition will be an I.P.S. event starting at 10am and the entry fee is R140 per entry and players are requested to enter their names by 5pm on Friday evening for catering purposes.
This past Saturday’s Club Competition saw a small field of fifteen players taking part in the I.P.S. competition with John Zulu winning the day with 42 individual points ahead of Mandla Mthethwa on 40 points and Billy Francis finishing third on 39 points. Only Walter Du Plessis managed to record a 2 Club on the day which he achieved on the 16th hole.
The luckiest golfer of the week must be Kevin Donaldson, who has just returned home victorious from a golf tour, to not only comfortably win Dave’s Wednesday 10 Hole competition, but also win the progressive jackpot and take home over R1 000!
The results of Friday’s Chicken Run was a family affair when Llewelyn Bezuidenhout scored 25 individual points to finish first, three points ahead of his father Wayne who won the count out on 22 points.
This week’s fixtures: Dave’s Wednesday 10 holes competition, Friday 10 holes Chicken Run and Saturday will be Stan’s 46th Year Sponsored I.P.S. competition.
