Juventus u/13 won the June 16 tournament

Even girls have partaken in the soccer matches, but the Juventus u/11 were the winning champs.

Youth Day was celebrated differently in all parts of the country, but Sithembile young stars celebrated it by playing soccer at their location stadium.
Bongani Zweli Ziqubu, the organiser of the tournament, played a crucial role in making sure that the tournament got off the ground.
He dedicated long hours to training the young ones and getting sponsorship for the event as well.
Lucky Lusanda Mhlungu of Zawadi Events, came to his rescue and sponsored the event. She affirmed, “a big thank you to the Department of Sports and Recreation in PMB for sponsoring us with the whole soccer kit for the winners”.
Bongani pleaded with the community of Endumeni to support such initiatives as the youth of Endumeni needs such extramural activities to keep them off the streets.
He said, “I would like to request other departments and local businesses not to shut us down when we come knocking for sponsorships for such initiatives as these tournaments are the only thing that brings joy and discipline to our future stars, ensuring that they do not turn to drugs and crime due to lack of hobbies.
“As Simelokuhle Youth Development we welcome any kind of sponsorship that will mold our players into better beings.”
Even girls have partaken in the soccer matches, but the Juventus u/11 were the winning champs.
After the tournament, the winning team was handed a brand new soccer kit, medals, soccer balls and a trophy.
