Despite winds which threatened to ruin proceedings, a total of 52 players teed off and challenged themselves in unfavourable conditions.
Kilbarchan Golf Club hosted the NG Bergsig Golf Day on Saturday.
Despite winds which threatened to ruin proceedings, a total of 52 players teed off and challenged themselves in unfavourable conditions.

The day’s results were as follows:
Anthony Martens took first place overall, with Andre Potgieter in second place and Dons de Kock in third place.
Fourth place went to Chris le Roux.
The remainder of the top 10 in order were Arthur Maartens, Alistair James, Rudi Rathmann, Karel Swanepoel, Keith van Aarde and Wayne Krog respectively.
“If you look at the points, the wind did not bother the players,” said club management.
