As an additional means of fundraising, Ncandu 86 Round Table will sell ‘winter warmer’ pancakes at Hutten Heights Pick n Pay this Friday (July 13), from 4.30pm onwards.

Residents can also bring along blankets, clothes and non perishable food to place into a drop-off box.

“We are pleading with members of the public to come support us, as all funds raised will be used to purchase more blankets and warm clothes for the needy. We look forward to a massive turnout on the day.”

Niebuhr thanked everyone who had already been involved in making the project a success to date.
