Dundee's professional golfer, Louis Albertse Jnr, took top honours at the IGT Challenge played on the Ernie Els designed, Els Club Copperleaf course in Centurion, last week. Louis finished on -10 to beat second-placed Otto van Buynden by four shots!

Saturday’s club competition at Dundee Country Club attracted a small field of 18 golfers which is a witness that winter is certainly upon us as golfers are reluctant to play in the cold weather.
Winning the 4 B.B.B.S. competition was the pairing of Dave Donaldson and Kallie Roets with 47 better ballpoints followed by the father and daughter combination of Danie and Sunel Von Molendorff on 46 points. Danie also recorded a 2 club on the 12th hole while Willie Maritz made his 2 club on the 16th hole.
Dave’s Wednesday competition saw eleven players taking part with Kevin “Ringer” Donaldson winning the meat hamper with 29 individual points. Lalla Govender won the progressive jackpot and earned himself an extra R435 for his efforts.
This week’s fixtures: Dave’s Wednesday 10 holes competition and Saturday’s Club competition will be Individual Stableford format.
