Dancers step it up for Stepping Out at ‘Dans in jou Taal’

Monday afternoon saw a group of Stepping Out's dancers travel to Empangeni for the first round of the popular competition 'Dans in jou taal'

‘DANS in jou Taal’ is the first dance competition of its kind for dance academies and schools across the country and Vryheid’s Stepping Out Dance Academy is no exception.

Monday afternoon saw a group of Stepping Out’s dancers travel to Empangeni for the first round of the popular competition with their dedicated instructor, Marina de Beer.

“We are extremely proud of our talented Stepping Out dancers,” she beams proudly, following the evenings performance which resulted in two of the local dance academy’s acro groups making it through to the next round. The competition was broadcast on KykNet and viewers were invited to vote for their favourite dance groups via sms.
