Golfers take advantage of the good course conditions
Dave's Wednesday competition attracted a good field of eleven players with Jo Khumalo winning the meat hamper with 27 individual points followed by Dave Donaldson on 24 points.
After a number of weeks of seeing a below average turnout to our Saturday golf competitions at Dundee CC , it was really great to see more than thirty golfers taking part this past Saturday in the 4 BBB Bonus Bogey competition.
Considering that winter is upon us and the frost having taking its toll on our course, the course is still in a good condition with the greens holding nicely, as seen by the great scores recorded by a number of players on Saturday.
Veronica Donaldson and her partner, Lorien De Wit, finished on +9 to win the day followed by a number of pairings finishing on +8. Winning the count out to claim second prize was Patrick Mbatha and Hlengiwe Hlongwane, while Henk Booysen and Bruce Meyer took home the prize for third place.
There were all of seven 2 Clubs recorded, Sifiso Kunene on the 8th, Lorien De Wit and Willie Maritz on the 12th, with John Zulu, Cameron Fogg, Bruce Meyer and Willie Maritz making their 2 Club on the 16th hole.

This week’s fixtures: Dave’s Wednesday 10 Holes Competition, Friday 10 Holes Chicken Run and Saturday’s Club competition will be the Monthly Mug Medal Competition for August.
