Car crashes after driver blacks out

Drivers slams into tree

There has been yet another accident in Glencoe. Following on from Saturday’s collision that claimed the life of a security guard, a man escaped serious injury when his vehicle smashed into a tree early on Wednesday evening.

Witnesses said it appeared as if the driver suffered a black out which caused him to lose control on the vehicle. It was said that he managed to get out of the vehicle when the police arrived on the scene.

Police are continuing to investigate.
