Three local swimmers have excelled in national competition.
From August 9 to 12, Rhuben Nortje, Minette Janse van Vuuren and Ruan Janse van Vuuren competed at the South African Short Course Championships in Durban.
These swimmers also represented Aqua Adrenaline Club.
Rhuben reached the finals (top 20) in the 50-metre and 100m backstroke, and improved his times in all his disciplines.
Minette and Ruan also swam personal best times in their events.
