Hard work reaps rewards for Vryheid swimmers

The swimmers worked hard during the season and this is, then, an occasion where they are rewarded.

Vryheid Swimming club will be holding it’s AGM and yearly prize giving on September 20 at Pionier High School at 5pm for 5.30pm. During the swimming season, which is between August and March, every swimmer has to take part in gala’s and qualify for the level gala at Sasolburg which was in March 2018.

At this gala, the swimmers compete with swimmers from the national southern part of South Africa. The competition is hard and the qualifying times are tough. The prize giving is based on the times that they swam during the season.
