Gearing up for Talana Live weekend – lets hope the weather plays along

The Wheels Thru Time this year will see a bumper ''convoy'' of vintage and unusual cars on display

Organisers of the bumper Talana Live weekend which kicks off tonight are holding thumbs that the weather will remain dry.  This year the programme includes the Highland Games which will see Scottish visitors from around the country flocking in to try their hand at traditional Scottish games,

The progamme is:
Friday 19 October 
17:15- 19:45 Ghost walk Ghost Walk and wreath laying
Follow guides up Talana hill in footsteps of British soldiers. Talana cemetery
17:30- 20:30 Food and refreshment available Boer camp and other stalls
17:45 – 19:00 “Conversations with our ghosts” Characters from the past recount historic tales Boer/British camp
19:30-20:30 Poetry of the war With projected images onto large screen Boer camp
Sing a long in Boer camp – song sheets available. Boer camp

Saturday 20 October
9:30 Parade through Dundee Led by Band, Colour Party with numerous flags, Dundee town
