Easy win for golfers Kevin and Dan
Golfers are reminded of the Dundee Open Champs played over 36 holes this coming Sunday, and entries close at 6pm on Friday, November 16, so players need to contact The Pro Shop on 034-21 81000 to enter.

This past Saturday saw a reasonable field of thirty golfers participate in the multiplication stableford club competition at Dundee Country Club.
The pairing of Kevin Donaldson and Dan Scholtz were easy winners of the competition after both players recorded a net 66, five shots better than their respective handicaps, to score an excellent 92 points. Mandla Mthethwa and his partner, Aaron Mbath, also scored very well to finish with 89 points to finish in second place while Jo Khumalo and Sifiso Kunene took home the third place prize on 85 points. Veteran golfer Billy Francis found the forward red tee’s very easy when shooting a three under par 68 which included two 2 Clubs, on holes 12 and 16. Churchill Maphanga recorded his 2 Club on the 4th hole while Melusi Sithole made his on the 16th hole.
Seven players turned up on Friday afternoon to play in the Chicken Run which was won by Dave Donaldson on 23 individual points with Sthembiso Mkhaliphi finishing second on 21 points.

Dundee Country Club’s biggest fund raiser of the year, The Corporate Classic, takes place next Friday 23rd November, and businesses are urged to please confirm their entries by no later than Monday 19th November.
