Advent marked with a family Carol Service

Carols were sung under an unsettled summer sky

The arrival of Advent was marked at Ingudlane Lodge on Saturday evening with a family Carol Service. Led by Brother Daniel, the service brought families together in an informal setting under a somewhat unsettled evening sky.

There was plenty to eat courtesy of the Lodge, the SPCA and church groups. Father Christmas arrived in a red bakkie – in true South African style as opposed to a red sleigh.

Carols were sung, candles lit in a lovely ambience. Donations of food and toys were also encouraged which will be donated to the needy.
