Father Christmas was spotted in Wasbank, making his way to to Glencoe...

Excitement is building for tomorrow’s Glencoe Spar Christmas Market, fun run and bikers’ Toy Run which is being held inconjunction with the Courier,

Father Christmas is in town – there has been a sighting in Glencoe this morning – and his sleigh was spotted outside a toy shop. He even put money in the parking meter…

The fun run will start tomorrow at around 7.30am at Glencoe Spar and the 29 or so stalls – selling everything for arts, crafts, novelties and food – will open at 8am.  There will be great ideas for last minute Christmas presents.

The No Rules Bikers Club Toy Run will start in front of the Courier office at 9am and will end at the Glencoe Spar Centre. Father Christmas will be on hand to present gifts to deserving children who will be at the Centre to enjoy the day and a meal courtesy of Rowan and his team at the Boere Schwarma Restaurant.

Christmas hats will be on sale and one of Father Christmas’ elves will be playing music. It promises to be a great, fun event and the ideal way to ensure all have a Merry Christmas.
