Local Class of 18 boast great Matric results

DHS and Sarel Cilliers have both shown great improvements in their matric results

Matric results are in at Dundee High and Sarel Cilliers where the class of 18 recorded excellent results.  Dundee High recorded a pass rate of 99,3% – up from 96% last year – with just one failure and an improvement on last year’s results!

Top students were Karl Thom, Keshmiél Govender and Philasande Mdletshe. Karl and Keshmiél notched up 8As and Philasande 7. All three are in Durban as guests with the MEC for Education who is hosting the province’s top matrics today.

Sarel Cilliers recorded a pass rate of 94% – well up on the 79% pass rate of 2017.  Top student was Jedial Naidoo who achieved 7 As.

‘Please give me my results’… teachers assisting at Sarel Cilliers this school as matrics gathered to get their results

Sarel teachers, Cindy Joubert and Elmarie van der Westhuizen, were at Sarel Cilliers early this morning to assist the class of 2018.
