Crowd descends on police station to demand release of those charged for killing housebreaking gang
Later, the POP Unit from Newcastle arrived and the crowd eventually disperse

The Dundee SAPS had their hands full again last night when a group of around 120 or so people descended outside the charge office to demand the release of eight people arrested earlier on charges of murder, grievous bodily harm and arson.
The arrests are related to the murder of two men last week accused of being behind a string of burglaries in Sibongile. Fed-up community members set about the men. One was shot and died later while the other was beaten up. His body was later found behind Croydon farm.
The group had marched earlier in the day to the police station and were told they would be given feedback. When this was not forthcoming, the group marched again at around 7pm. Police called for back up from neighbouring stations.
Later, the POP Unit from Newcastle arrived and the crowd eventually dispersed. It is not clear when those arrested will appear in Court.
