Ezakheni A-Section residents blocked off roads on Wednesday evening (February 6) going into Thursday to voice their demand for water.
From Saturday up until Thursday, A-Section residents were without water.
Police responded to try and remove the protesters on Wednesday evening, but couldn’t prevent them from blocking the main roads leading to A-Section.

No vehicles could use the blockaded roads until the rocks and broken bottles had been removed.
Water was restored to the affected area on Thursday morning.
