Buffalo Coal Squash League is heating up
The squash club is currently trying to generate funds and is asking individuals and companies in and around Dundee to support the Squash club
The Buffalo Coal squash league produced another week of great squash.
Team 5, “Face drills”, which consists of Kevin Donaldson, Shakeel Kalideen, Theuns Ferreira, Nazir Khan and Daniël Mostert, came out of the starting blocks firing.
They managed to beat team 4, “The Dozers”, with 16 points to 9, they’ve managed to achieve the highest score in one evening in the league thus far, This team had a bye last week and is most definitely a team to watch out for.
There were another few nail-biting Matches, but Morne Mare and Kevin Donaldson took the spotlight. The scores were as follows: Morne vs Kevin, 15/11 ; 11/15 ; 15/8 ; 13/15 ; 15/9, well done to Morne for once again showing determination and skill and a whole lot of heart. Kevin really gave him a run for his money, but in the end, youth pulled through.
The team scores are as follows: Crushers: 25; Roof Bolters: 23; Dozers 14: 23; Face Drills 16; Scoops 8.
