Mrs Ashara Sookraj, HOD Intermediate Phase at Forderville Primary School was invited by the Department of Basic Education through the Teacher Appreciation and Support Program (TSP) as a VIP guest to the 19th annual National Teaching Awards gala ceremony at the Sandton Convention Centre on February 16.

She was privileged to be in the company of the Minister of Basic Education Ms Angie Motshekga and Minister in the Presidency, Ms Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma.

It was an honour and privilege for Mrs Sookraj to attend this prestigious event.
