Healthy eating discussed at Drakensview Primary School

Learners get the know-how about nutrition and healthy eating

Sister Gwala and a few of her colleagues paid a visit to Drakensview’s Learners with Special Education Needs (LSEN) class to talk about healthy eating.

She spoke about bringing a healthy lunch to school and to not always have the same food. The body enjoys a varied diet.

A section of her talk included good hygiene. The learners were told about washing regularly and coming to school in clean, neat clothes.

As a life skill it is important to expose young people to these important topics.
