Riverdale Primary School Girl Guides commemorate Thinking Day

Girl Guides mark an honorary day on their calendar

The Girl Guide Movement commemorated annual Thinking Day on February 22.

Both founders of the movement were born on the day; Lord Robert Baden Powell was born on February 22, 1857 in England as well as his wife Olave Lady Baden Powell who was born on February 22, 1889 in England.

Riverdale Girl Guides celebrate the day during an assembly by sharing the history of Guiding, how it began and the birth of the founders.

Riverdale Girl Guides break out in song and dance to remember a special day.

Girl Guides had loads of fun reading stories and giving speeches.

Riverdale Primary School learners and educators paid their undivided attention and showed lots of interest.
