Woman, children treated after car crash

The car hit a wall

A woman and three children have been taken to hospital this morning after the car they were travelling in hit a wall near Karel Landman Street.

Witnesses who spoke to the Courier said the woman, from Pongola, had only recently purchased the car from a dealer in Ladysmith. She appeared to lose control of the car in the vicinity of Chick Chick Nursery and Pet Shop. A car veered into a wall at the adjacent business, Active Carpets.

Paramedics were on the scene and the woman and the children were taken for treatment. It is not clear what injuries they suffered.
