Dundee in darkness again
It is not clear when the lights will be turned on...
Dundee is in darkness again this morning. According to an Eskom notice, this time it is not load shedding but maintenance on a transformer feeding the Dundee area.
No prior warning was given and a notice only sent to the Courier after 8am.
The power went off at around 6am. Eskom said maintenance planned for March 28 had been moved to April 4. The note says the maintenance will continue to 7pm. It is not clear if the electricity will be off until then or will come back earlier.
