There is plenty to do this weekend in Dundee…
You do not have to go to Newcastle for entertainment this weekend

There is an old complaint that says but there is nothing to do in Dundee… go to the Newcastle Shopping Mall and there you will find most of your friends from Dundee and Glencoe happily spending their money there…
But this weekend there is no excuse. There is plenty to do locally.
Music Festival
The Battlefields Country Lodge once again will play host to the Dundee Music Festival on Saturday. Fifteen school choirs have confirmed their attendance and many other local artists will wow audiences with their vocal prowess. The event, hosted by the Dundee Methodist Church, is a day of fun for the whole family with food and fellowship. Gates open at 9am. Entry is R20 for adults and R10 for kids. Plek: Hoek van Beaconsfield en Willson Straat. Vleis, pannekoek, tee, koffie, koeldrank, koeke, kleinkoekies, kerrie en rys, vetkoek, nagereg, brood en beskuit.
Sentraal versus Piet Retief
The rugby season is in full swing and at the DHS fields, Sentraal will host Piet Retief with the second team playing at 2pm and the first team directly after. Come along and support the local lads.
Golf
The Dundee Golf Club will host the Club Strokeplay Champs on Saturday and Sunday.

Shri Raam Naumi
Glencoe Hindu Temple will be observing Ramayan week commencing at 5:30pm daily. Shri Raam Naumi is on April 13 and Hanuman Jayanti is on April 19.
