Speed humps put up in Ezakheni to reduce number of car crashes

Residents are pleased and say that lives will definitely be saved

Alfred Duma Local Municipality, working hand in hand with the Department of Transport, took the initiative to recently erect speed humps along the main road in Ezakheni.

The aim is to keep vehicles’ speed down and minimise road traffic accidents.

Residents are pleased and say that lives will definitely be saved. Children walk to and from school in this area, and now parents won’t have to worry about their well-being.

Easter is coming up, when road fatalities are high, so this initiative comes at just the right time.
