Postal delays in Glencoe expected

There is a problem with the post for the rural areas in Glencoe, but residents are urged not to panic. The mailman who originally delivered post to those areas, recently terminated his contract.
This has meant that there is no one able to deliver the mail to these areas. The South African Post Office (SAPO) are in the process of trying to find a new agent to carry out this task.
They have assured residents, though, that there is currently no backlog of mail. However, depending on incoming volumes, deliveries are done every two weeks.
SAPO has apologised for any inconvenience caused and requests customers with enquiries to contact their customer service call centre on 0860 111 502 or to send an email to customer.service@postoffice.co.za.
