Contractors appointed to work in Ekuvukeni

In the wake of protests in Ekuvukeni, contractors have been appointed to carry out construction work in the area.

Ekuvukeni residents have been complaining about service delivery issues such as water shortages, the poor state of  the roads, and sewage flooding their yards and homes.

uThukela have heard the cries of the community, hence the contractors who have been hired to sort out all the issues and put the problems in the past.

Acting General Manager for Water & Technical Services Mr Sanele Zikalala made the announcement at a meeting held in the Alfred Duma satellite offices recently.

The contractors are currently on-site, hard at work.
