Woman run over, injured

Motorists are advised to approach the area with caution

Paramedics have responded to an accident outside KFC, near Jeff’s Service Station, where a woman has just been run over and injured by a vehicle.

The woman has been put in a neck brace. The diver of the vehicle is on the scene and witnesses said she appeared to be distraught.

Traffic officers also arrived on the scene. The injured woman will be taken to the hospital.

Motorists are advised to approach the area with caution. Some people on the scene claimed that the woman had earphones clamped to her ears and did not hear the motorist hooting at her.
