On Friday, 10 May, the Ichthus u/11 and u/13 Winter Sports Teams travelled to Durban for the annual KZNCSSA Winter Sports Tournament, which was held over Friday and Saturday at Pitlochry Primary School, Westville, Durban.
Hockey, netball, touch rugby, soccer and volleyball were on the fixtures list over the two days, with the Ichthus teams performing beautifully against schools from Durban Central, Durban North and Durban South, Northern KZN and Northern Coastal.
The following teams were awarded gold and silver medals:
Gold: Hockey: u/13 boys.
The players in this team were awarded KZNCSSA colours for this sports code.
Silver: Hockey: u/13 girls and Volleyball: u/13 boys.
Well done to each of the learners! Ichthus is very proud of you all! Ichthus would like to thank all the teachers who assisted as officials and the parents who supported their children over the weekend.
