A Mimosa Crescent resident says he reported a water leak over two years ago, which has still not been attended to.

“The last call I made to uThukela to complain was on May 23,” told Mr Nakhooda.
He explained that the leak is on vacant land near his home, which he noticed late in 2016.
“The water comes out faster than just a small leak and this is how it got my attention.The water runs all the way down into Outspan Road.”
Mr Nakhooda is mainly concerned about the amount of clean water going to waste over the years. And the incessant water leak is not the only issue the resident is plagued with.
“Reporting this problem is a nightmare! Calling uThukela District Municipality is a dead-end. Every time I have spoken to them, as of 2016, they just keep promising they will come and fix it, but nothing ever happens,” said an annoyed Mr Nakhooda.
The above concerns have been sent to uThukela, but no response was received at the time of going to print.
