Matrics brush up on their maths skills

The hall was packed to capacity, with over a thousand learners from throughout the Uthukela District attending the two-day programme

AWQAF SA, in partnership with the Department of Education and Operation Sukuma Sakhe, held a mathematics intervention programme for Grade 12 learners in Ladysmith recently.

The programme was held on Wednesday and Thursday at the Civic Hall, with Mohammed Cota from K-Way teaching the learners valuable information they can use to better their maths exam results.

The hall was packed to capacity, with over a thousand learners from throughout the Uthukela District attending the two-day programme. Learners from as far as Weenen and even Estcourt were there.

The pupils gained invaluable knowledge over the two days, which they can now put into practice as their exam preparation gets underway.
