Her career at the school began as an educator in the then Special Class. After a few years, she moved to grade three and it was there she found her true calling.

She is set to begin the next chapter of her life when she retires at the end of June. Learners from grades four to seven presented personalised poems to their former educator and one grade performed a dance.
Her present grade three class gave her a beautifully unique table cloth they had each painted on, thanks to the help given by craft teacher Mrs Hohls.
Over the years she wrote, directed and presented several lively and exciting school plays. Many families in Estcourt have benefited from Mrs Henderson’s excellent teaching and she is going to be sorely missed by learners, colleagues, and parents.
How many little people passed through her classes over the years? However, it is now time to say goodbye.
