‘Fix the roads’ message in a pothole

A clear message has been conveyed to local government

If you passed by Wagen Road at the intersection of Canon Rogers Road today, you were bound to notice an anomaly in the middle of the road.

“Fix the roads, a message from the people to government” reads the note.

The subject of potholes and the worsening state of roads in and around Estcourt has been a major service delivery concern for ratepayers.

Inkosi Langalibalele Local Municipality has continuously been asked to reveal its pothole repair plan to the public; however no response has been received since last year.
