Not even a crèche has been spared by merciless thieves. Meters of fencing were stolen from the Siphuthando Creche in Craigside, in the early hours of Saturday morning.

According to reports, a stationed security guard heard a gunshot at about 1.30am, and promptly hid himself. When he emerged from hiding, he noticed part of the fencing had been cut away and stolen.

Police sources say no arrests have been made in relation to this case.
