Okhahlamba Municipality receives clean audit award for 4 consecutive years

12 out of the 18 municipalities that maintained a clean audit status have staff who are active members of CIGFARO

The Chartered Institute of Government Finance, Audit & Risk Officers (CIGFARO) recently welcomed the audit results released by Auditor-General Kimi Makwetu.

The KZN branch of CIGFARO hosted the Finance Leadership Summit on July 5 and 6, and then an awards breakfast ceremony to honour and appreciate the municipalities that did well.

The Auditor General Award for a Clean Audit for four years running went to Okhahlamba Local Municipality.
